IFRS Conversion Consultants
10K Financial Recruiters is working with several large corporations currently staffing for their GAAP to IFRS conversion requirements. We are seeking qualified reporting and technical accounting specialists interested in either permanent or flexible contract based opportunities.
The IFRS conversion team is comprised of accomplished consultants who are responsible for superior service delivery in the areas of corporate accounting, finance and reporting. These individuals assist our client's IFRS conversion by serving as a trusted member of their reporting team. They are up to date on US GAAP, SEC, and IFRS requirements, on industry practices and trends, have strong managerial and communication experience, have strong client service skills, think strategically, and have a high level of professionalism. Many clients have indicated an intention to hire permanantly many who perform well during their IFRS conversion
Selected candidates for these opportunities will be prepared to perform the following:
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a superior level of client service
- Assist internal conversion from US GAAP to IFRS
- Establish and monitor client expectations as an extended client resource
- Innovate by sharing and developing deliverables to achieve client driven results
- Provide comprehensive client support through hands-on performance and consultation
- Work collaboratively to anticipate the direction of client business needs
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Minimum 2 years relevant professional experience
- Public Accounting Audit and/or Private Industry Reporting Experience
- Credentials such as MBA, CIA, CMA, and CISA are a plus
Ideal candidates will:
· Prepare, review, and assist filing financial statements and SEC reporting documents
· Research complex SEC, IFRS and US GAAP issues
· Monitor and assess the impact of newly released statements and pronouncements
· Have knowledge of SEC accounting policy, US GAAP, FASB pronouncements (109, 123, 123R, 133, 157, 159), and IFRS
· Assist with SEC registration statement preparation and reviews
· Direct and contribute to the assessment of initial public offering (IPO) readiness
· Have experience in SEC reporting forms 10k, 10Q, and registrations S-1, S-3, S-4, and S-8
