Description
National Latino Education Institute is currently hiring Instructors that can teach courses in areas such as, CPT and ICD – 9CM coding, medical office procedures, medical bookkeeping, medical transcription, electronic medical records, patient relations, medical terminology, medical laboratory procedures, phlebotomy, pharmacology and medication administration, anatomy and physiology, and clinical skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
As an Instructor at National Latino Education Institute, you will be accountable for delivering a quality educational experience for our students, which includes:
Utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of students.
Organize, prepare and regularly revise/update all materials for the courses they are responsible for teaching.
Establish positive classroom relationships with students by being actively engaged in the classroom and lab. 
Provide opportunities for in-class discussions and questions and display enthusiasm when discussing the subject matter throughout the learning process.
Analyze outward signs of problems students may have that inhibit their achievement and take appropriate action. 
Actively work to maintain retention in all classes taught, by maintaining accurate attendance records daily.
Other duties may be assigned as related to the overall mission of National Latino Education Institute.
Requirements
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Excellent interpersonal skills including questioning, listening, and showing concern and respect for others.
Excellent verbal communication skills including ability to project voice and be clearly understood when speaking in front of a group.
Commitment to the success of the students and the school.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Must possess a high degree of integrity and commitment to comply with policies, regulations, and codes of conduct governing all aspects of job responsibilities.
 
Qualifications
Instructors shall possess at least certification from a nationally recognized certification organization, diploma, or vocational training And two years of work experience in the health care field.
